  • What are your hours of operation?
    Our hours of operation are 7:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Is there a before and after-school program for school-aged children?
    We offer Before School, After School, PD/Snow Days/Camps. Please refer to our Programs section to get full details.
  • Are your employees trained? What are their qualifications?
    All staff are fully trained to work with young children. As a fully licensed facility, we adhere to the standards set by the Department of Education and Childhood Development. All staff have up-to-date criminal record checks, child abuse checks and Emergency First Aid/CPR.
  • What kinds of meals and snacks do you offer?
    Our meals and snacks are in accordance with the nutritional standards set by the Department of Community Services. Our students are given two healthy snacks (morning and afternoon) as well as a homemade lunch each day. We offer a variety of healthy and nutritious food options so that the children will be exposed to different tastes and flavours where and when appropriate. We are very pleased to have an on-site cook, who prepares all snacks and meals each day. Children are fed healthy, homemade snacks and meals each day in all of our programs.
  • Is there an outdoor playground?
    Yes, we are very pleased to offer plenty of outdoor play space. The outdoor space includes a variety of toys and games, as well as natural options for the children to enjoy including tree stumps, wood, flower beds and outdoor gardens. Children are given plenty of time to explore the natural environment and enjoy the wonders and benefits of being outside. We also take the children to parks and community spaces in our neighbourhood where appropriate.
  • What will the children be doing throughout the day?
    The children will be involved in a full-day program which will include time for child-directed play, nutritional snacks/lunch, quiet time and educational programming. Programming will be based on the children’s interests, staff observations and developmentally appropriate activities. We will also help prepare older children with the necessary skills needed for the transition to “big school”.
